กว่าหนึ่งรอบปีที่ผ่านมาหลังจากที่ศิลปินหนุ่ม อำนาจ วชิระสูตร ผู้ยึดครองนครแห่งจินตนาการได้ออกเดินทางจากอาณาจักรจิตรกรของเขา เพื่อผจญภัยในการสำรวจโลกของ “อุปาทาน” ซึ่งก่อตัวขึ้นอย่างเสรีภายในเบื้องลึกของจิตใจ เขาจึงมุ่งพเนจรเรื่อยไปด้วยยานพาหนะรุ่นกายใจหมายมั่นที่จะซึมซับและพยายาม เรียนรู้ความหมายของโลกดังกล่าว ผ่านสรรพเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้นรอบโลกและรอบตัวเขา ทั้งรูปแบบของประสบการณ์ตรง การอ่าน ฟังหรือการเสพสื่อสาธารณะ กระนั้นการรับรู้จากรูปแบบเหล่านี้ก็ไม่สามารถสร้างความหยั่งรู้หรือเปลี่ยน แปลงความรู้สึกนึกคิดบางอย่างของเขาได้ ดังนั้นเมื่อเขาดึงเอาความรู้สึกนึกคิดบางอย่างนั้นออกมาผจญภัยร่วมกับการ วาดภาพ มโนทัศน์อันเวิ้งว้าง เงียบงัน พร่าเลือนทั้งบิดเบือน ทว่าช่างระอุ รุ่มร้อน คุกรุ่นและเคลื่อนไหวของโลก “อุปาทาน” ที่เขาค้นพบก็พรั่งพรูออกมา แต่จะเพียงพอต่อความเข้าใจร่วมกันถึงสาระสำคัญในการมีอยู่ของอุปาทานในชีวิต มนุษย์แห่งสากลโลกนี้หรือไม่นั้น “เรา” ในฐานะมนุษย์ที่มีชีวิตจะไม่ร่วมสังเกตุการณ์เชิงสงสัยใคร่รู้ถึงเลศนัยของ ชีวิตกันเชียวหรือ?
